Abrahams Bay-Guano Point (East End)
- Location: Mayaguana
- Lat / Lon: N 22° 21.200' / W 072° 59.100'
- Depth: 6.5 feet
- Description:
At the east end anchorage, the closer you are to the beach, the more quickly it shoals. This anchorage is open to wind from southeast through to southwest. However, the reef breaks up some of the wave action. Don not head toward the Abrahams Bay concrete dock to the northeast. Despite a scar with the semblance of a channel carved by a local fishing boat, the dock is only approachable by dinghy. At low tide, you will find barely a 1 foot of water here. Do not be fooled by the fishing boat if it is at the dock. Abrahams Bay is an official port of entry, but Customs and Immigration may be absent. They commute from Great Inagua.
