The anchorage lies in deep water close to the eastern shore of the HudsonRi ver. Exposed to north and south. Enter the narrow channel ¾ of a mile south of Pollepel Island and hug the east shore as you proceed north to anchor in 8-10' behind the island. This anchorage provides an interesting view of the ruins of the Bannerman Castle on Pollepel Island. Loud, frequent train noise.
