Rat Cay/Cistern Cay
- Location: Berry Islands
- Lat / Lon: N 25° 45.683' / W 077° 52.658'
- Depth: 6-8 Feet
- Tide: 2.0'-2.5'
- Description:
There is slightly better protection from the NE on the north side of Bullocks Harbour. The depths here are less than they are directly in front of the settlement, and the holding is more precarious as there are more grass and marl patches to avoid. If one is careful to set their anchor in a patch of sand, Rat Cay is a viable choice for those who choose to remain in the harbour during the passage of a cold front.
There is a blue hole on the north side of Rat Cay that can be explored by dinghy.
