Little Fish Cay
- Location: Abaco
- Lat / Lon: N 27° 02.367' / W 077° 49.371'
- Depth: 6'-9'
- Tide: 2.0'-2.5'
- Description:
There is room for exactly one shallow-draft vessel drawing less than 4’ in this anchorage. The lucky vessel that scores this spot will be rewarded with a well-protected, surge-free anchorage from which to explore the area. Located between the eastern end of Little Fish Cay and the western end of Upper Fish Cay, the shallows to the east and the natural breaking action of the cays provide excellent protection from all directions except the west. A squall coming out of the west can make this anchorage very rough, but the holding is good and squalls rarely last more than an hour. Despite its relatively good protection, this is not the place to head if frontal weather is expected. In that event, Allans Pensacola Cay or Great Sale Cay are better choices.
