George Mussan Bridge South
- Location: Indian River
- Lat / Lon: N 29° 02.261' / W 080° 54.312'
- Description: This turned out to be a really nice anchorage. Never saw less than 7 feet. There were a few small boats that cut the corner, but they were all going slow. It was very nice at night. There is only room for three or four boats. I'm not sure about wind protection as there was very little wind while we were there. This was in early April 2026.
DISCLAIMER: The laws and regulations governing anchoring in Florida waters are complex and everchanging. If you plan to anchor, whether overnight or for an extended period, you should confirm whether you are in compliance with local and state requirements before committing to a location. Two sources of information that may be helpful are the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the Florida State Statutes.
