- Description:
In settled weather or moderate easterlies, you can anchor outside the harbor along the shores of Man-O-War Cay & Dickies Cay in 3.0 to 3.7 meters/10 to 12 feet MLW of water. The holding is good and protection from northeast through east-southeast will provide protection even when the winds exceed 20 knots. Vessels have even been known to anchor in this area for the passage of cold fronts; however, there are better choices nearby if frontal weather is expected. Dinghy dockage can be found at a public dock close to town.
