Tie up east of the lock on south lock wall under bridge E-30A. Because you are so low in the valley, the train and road noise is not bad here. There is some turbulence from the lock. It is a 20-minute walk to town. Ask the lockmaster about walking to Moss Island to view water sculptured rock formations over a million years old.
