Been staying here for two weeks now. Very quiet, staff is attentive, facility is clean and looked after. They're in the process of repairing and upgrading the docks. Depth is a solid 6 to 7 ft, quite a few large sailboats in here.

Another article that never mentions the depth of the water. We are NOT driving cars. We are driving boats and the depth of the water is always a concern. More Info please.

EDITOR NOTE: Bill, thank you for the note. Most of the destination and location articles that you read in Waterway Guide Newsletters and other postings contain information that is dedicated to an overview of an area. We almost always provide links to specific information about the marinas, service facilities, navigation alerts, and other important background for the region covered that contains depths, approach and docking details, fuel prices, and more. We agree that knowing whether you can get to a recommended location in a boat is important. And one of our editorial positions is that we usually only list destinations and locations (marinas) that accommodate transient and visiting boats with depths of at least 3.5 feet. Please use www.waterwayguide.com and search for a specific destination in the main search window to locate those details. And feel free to reach out to us for questions if you want more information on how to use our resources.

This has been our home marina for over 5 years. Excellent facility & staff. They continue to upgrade the facilities and amenities. Protected marina in a storm and they really look after the boats & folks. Always great conversations hanging out at the picnic table or in the air conditioned lounge. The channel zigzags a bit, if you draw more than 3' stay in the channel or sit in the mud... :-)
