Tadoussac, which is Quebec’s oldest village, celebrated its 400th anniversary in 2000. It’s in the Association of Most Beautiful Villages of Quebec for good reason.
Several shops and good restaurants, along with a grocery and liquor store, will make your stay enjoyable. Be sure to check out the well-done Marine Mammals Interpretation Centre (418-235-4701), as well as the historic Hotel Tadoussac (418-235-4421) and nearby Chapelle de Tadoussac, the oldest wooden church in Canada.
