  Station opening and closing times, as well as first and last lockage, are not guaranteed and may be affected by water management duties, maintenance activities or other types of navigation interruptions.

  Lockstation hours 2026

  May 15 to June 18
  Monday to Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  Friday to Sunday and Victoria Day (May 18) 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

  June 19 to September 7
  Monday to Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  Friday to Sunday and Canada Day (July 1), Civic Holiday (Aug 3), Labour Day (Sep 7) 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

  September 8 to October 12
  Monday to Friday 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  Saturday and Sunday and Thanksgiving (Oct 12) 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

  Last Lockage

  Follow these guidelines to maximize chances of being locked through at the end of the day:

  • All vessels must arrive at the designated blue zone at last lockage time
  • At swing bridges, the last bridge swing will be 10 minutes after last lockage time.

  Lockstations are not staffed after-hours. Access to lockstations is prohibited between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am. For emergencies after-hours, please call 911 for police, fire, ambulance.

  Healey Falls Locks are the second flight locks on the Waterway. Located approximately 11 kilometres (7 miles) upstream from the Town of Campbellford, they are tucked in a nice corner of Northumberland County amidst the Trent Hills. There is almost always a cooling breeze at the upper level. The picturesque falls are especially spectacular in the spring or whenever there are high river flows.

  Lots of space above the lock, and a nice walk to see Healey Falls from the dam. Quiet overnight spot, nothing in the area. 2 hours to Hastings from here with lots of slow cruising and scenery to enjoy.
