DE: Indian River Inlet, Dredging

The dredge TRIUMPH will begin dredging operations in Indian River Inlet, west of the Charles W. Cullen Memorial Bridge near Bethany Beach, DE, starting on November 11, 2024, and continuing until March 31, 2025. The borrow area where the dredging will occur is located between approximate position 38° 36.48' N, 075° 04.05' W, and 38° 36.43' N, 075° 04.74' W, to include the navigational channel. The dredge, associated vessels, and equipment will be in and around the navigation channel and a section of floating dredge pipeline will be attached to the dredge and will be marked. The work hours for the dredge will be 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The dredge TRIUMPH can be contacted via VHF radio channels 13 and 16. Mariners are requested to contact the dredge TRIUMPH prior to transiting the area to make passing arrangements. Mariners are urged to use extreme caution when transiting the area.
