MA: Annisquam River, Blynman (SR 127) Bridge, Schedule Deviation

A temporary deviation is in effect for the Blynman (SR 127) Bridge across the Annisquam River at Mile 0.0. The draw will remain in the closed position for repairs from 6:00 a.m. on January 5, 2026, through 6:00 p.m. on March 22, 2026.
From January 6, 2026, through February 21, 2026, vessels may request a bridge opening with 24 hours' advance notice to the bridge tender or MassDOT. During this period, the bridge will open at 5:00 a.m. for vessels to depart the canal and reopen at 6:00 p.m. for vessels to re-enter the canal.
The bridge tender will be available 24/7 for requests at (978) 283-0243 for the duration of the repairs. Vessels able to pass beneath the draw without an opening may do so at any time. A safety vessel will be on scene monitoring VHF-FM Channels 13 and 16. Questions may be directed to the MassDOT Highway Operations Center at 800-227-0608. Mariners should use caution when transiting the area. Chart 13281.
