NJ: Ambrose Channel - Claremont Terminal Channel, Port Liberté, Caven Point Marine Terminal, Fender Enhancements

Michels Construction Inc. will be conducting cone fender system enhancements and fender pipe pile installation in the vicinity of Port Libert?, Caven Point Marine Terminal, and the Claremont Terminal Channel on the Main Channel. Work is scheduled from April 6, 2026, through June 6, 2026, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Construction barges will be positioned adjacent to the existing timber dock, including a 180 feet by 45 feet spud barge equipped with a crawler crane and a 60 feet telescopic boom lift. There will be no impact to navigation, and vessels may pass at all times as the project barge will be spudded within the USACE dock.
