The Fishing Bay Yacht Club is sponsoring a series of sailing regattas during the 2026 season, running from April 24 through November 14, 2026. These events will take place in Fishing Bay, the Piankatank River, the Rappahannock River, and portions of the Chesapeake Bay. The races are scheduled to be held each weekend between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Mariners are requested to exercise caution when transiting these areas and to keep a sharp lookout for participating sailing vessels. For additional information regarding specific race courses or safety boundaries, mariners can contact the Fishing Bay Yacht Club at 804-776-9636 or monitor VHF 16.
