GA: Cumberland Dividings shoaling MM 703
- Date Reported: Jun 19, 2024
- Reporter: Bob423
- Source: user
- Description:
Update: 12.0 MLLW as of 4/20/2024 on the Bob423 track.
Great news, Cumberland Dividings has been dredged! R60 used to sit in the middle of a shoal extending into the channel. Strangely, the shoal between R60A and R62 was left untouched so you cannot take a direct path between the two ATONs. To be on the safe side, just follow the Bob423 track for at least 12.0 MLLW. The Bob423 track is shown on the 4/20/2024 USACE survey in Aqua Map after dredging. I expect R60 will be relocated shortly so it may not be in the location shown on the chart.
USACE = US Army Corps of Engineers
ATONs = Aids TO Navigation such as buoys and daymarks

LOA: 52'
Draft: 5.0'Traverse past dredge carefully. On 05 April 2024 very little room between equipment and shoal. Two boats hard grounded along line between markers 60a and 62
