We stayed on a mooring ball for 2 nights in June 2023. Perfect to wait out some wind. Easy access for the dogs and great park with trails right here. The park even has a boardwalk across the creek to adjoining neighborhood, pickleball and tennis courts. Many other dinghy docks available on the way up the creek too. Easy dinghy ride to Ego Alley and busyness of downtown. Loved staying here! Water was calm - wake rules followed. fun to watch crabbers nearby.

Absolutely heaven! Perfect place to stay in Annapolis! Mooring ball was easy to grab, nice metal eyelet at the end. Beautiful homes all around us. Dinghy docks everywhere! Not a problem getting pup to shore. You can go online and find all the dinghy docks. https://www.annapolis.gov/176/Dinghy-Docks
It was graduation week and we were able to see the blue angels from our boat. So cool! $35 a night plus tax. Pump out comes to your boat $5. Water taco is a call away. We were at the second mooring ball field past the spa creek Bridge. 5 other loopers with us! Just perfect!!!

As others have mentioned, there is space to anchor or pick a mooring ball for $30/day. Calm waters as the "no wake" is abided by. We spent more time on the Eastport side than the Annapolis side, as it is more of a "local" vibe. The pooch thoroughly enjoyed his strolls and made many a new friend, as this is quite the dog friendly town.
