Reviews Summary
The reviews for the marina highlight a mix of positive and negative experiences.
Positive Aspects:
- The marina features new, fixed concrete docks that are well-protected, with free pump-out services available on demand.
- The atmosphere is described as quiet and relaxed, making it suitable for those looking for a peaceful stay rather than a party environment.
- The facilities, including bathrooms, showers, and laundry, are generally clean and well-maintained, although some users noted minor issues with cleanliness and functionality.
- The staff, particularly Kevin, Steve, Emily, and Valerie, received high praise for their helpfulness and accommodating nature.
- There are various amenities nearby, including a grocery store (Publix), restaurants, golf courses, and fitness centers, all within walking distance.
- The marina offers good access to recreational activities, such as swimming, snorkeling, and tennis.
Negative Aspects:
- Some reviews mention that the docks are in need of repair, particularly after storm damage, leading to tricky docking conditions and exposure to wakes and waves.
- There are concerns about the marina being geared towards an older crowd, and some facilities may feel outdated.
- Issues with communication regarding gate codes and package delivery were noted, leading to confusion for some guests.
- The marina can experience swells and rough conditions, especially for boats facing south, which can be uncomfortable.
Overall, while the marina offers excellent amenities and a friendly atmosphere, there are areas that require attention and improvement, particularly regarding dock conditions and communication. -

The docks are new, fixed concrete, and the slips are well-protected. Pump-outs are free, on demand at slip. Quiet relaxed vibe - definitely not a party marina. One way in/out with security coded gate at end of the pier – very safe.
Bathrooms and showers are new, clean and key card protected right next door to new laundry room with quarters or app payment ($2.50 each load). Packages delivered to your boat or pick up hotel's front desk.
Staff (Kevin, Steve and Emily) are fantastic! Very helpful and people who take pride in the the new facility.
Publix is a flat, easy 15-minute walk (about 0.8 miles). There's an excellent breakfast/lunch beach café across from Publix.
Great executive/par 3 course within walking distance. Across the street from golf and down the road is the resort beach club/pool bar with free towels, chairs and umbrellas. Two fitness centers (one in hotel near marina and one next to golf clubhouse). Tennis facility next to golf with pickle ball.
On still evenings, you might run into a few no-see-ums on still nights, but bugs aren't really an issue. Restaurants over the first bridge (about a 30-minute walk/8-minute bike ride/1.6 miles) Asian, Italian, and a classic family/sports bar.

Docks are in need of repair after storm damage. If the wind is from the south it can make for a tricky entry and dockage and depending on your slip you can be exposed to wakes and waves.

We were stuck here for 6 months waiting on an insurance claim. Really bad storms mean 4-6' swells in the slip. The amenities at the hotel aren't bad. There is a grocery store within walking distance and Stuart beach is nice to take the dog to. It is definitely geared towards an older crowd. If you are planning on staying a few nights, it is a good place to hang out. It is in need of an update, the concrete docks are falling apart and expect local fishermen throwing lines on your boat. If you are facing south in this marina expect to be bounced around constantly.

Valerie was more than accommodating as we tried to figure out our first ever docking at a marina. We had no issues booking a spot a few weeks in advance (in October). We were docked in one of the only catamaran slips (#43). It was on the “inside” of the south dock and was a little bit more protected from the south winds/waves. Wakes from the ICW can sometimes be annoying when the bigger boats take off past the “slow, no wake” zone. Upon arrival, check in was a bit chaotic. We were not given any sort of “welcome packet” but slowly pieced together the items we needed to have fun at the Marriott itself. Be sure to get the wristbands, and a card for entrance to the ocean pool/gym. Facilities are awesome. We felt really spoiled here as full-time cruisers. Nice pool/bar near the marina. Played golf, used the gym, and they even had tennis equipment we could rent. The free hotel shuttle will take you all over the Marriott property and to the private beachfront pool/bar. You’ll also need a parking pass if you have a car. We were not told this until about a week before we left (after a 2 1/2 month stay). This marina is in walking/biking distance to a gas station, SUP rental/fishing store, Publix, liquor store, Elliott Museum (a must see! Had a free classic car show every Tuesday night.) A 1.2mil walk/ride over the bridge and you have more options for restaurants. The marina has a few dock carts to use which is nice, it’s quite a long haul from the parking lot if you have a lot of groceries. They also sell ice at the marina office. Marriott office has bikes for rent. Pretty dog friendly with some grass nearby at the entrance to the dock. Marina bathroom/shower facilities are ok, they are located by the hotel and at least in the women’s, only one shower worked. Could be cleaner, but nice for a hot shower. Mail/packages can be delivered to the Marriott, they arrive at the front desk of the hotel and usually the marina staff picks them up to deliver them. Was some confusion on when they would do that and sometimes we had to grab them which was fine but we never knew how/where to get our mail from. Would prefer just grabbing it from the front desk to avoid more confusion. Gate code changed a few times and we never saw an email to notify us of the new code. Laundry facilities were also ok, there was always one dryer that didn’t work and they never fixed the change machine while we were there but you can get change from the front desk. HUGE bonus was right as we left, high speed WiFi was installed. A very nice amenity for a work-from-boat/boatschooling family! Staff are all friendly and helpful, even delivered ice to the boat for us! Would stay here again.

Excellent resort facility. Marriott offers boaters transients slips (2017 in season $3.00/ft, $2.50 off season), diesel, gas, 3 pools, laundry, restrooms, showers all locked by 10 PM. A short dingy ride to the beach access on Indian River offers a "bathtub" where coral surrounds an area which is great for swimming, snorkeling in 2-6 feet, and a day at the beach. Access is through a public access dock to the southeast of the marina.

Great resort amenities, pool, health club, tram to ocean beach. Marina has fixed docks with concrete pilings. Mind the channel, gets shallow fast if you drift out.
