Very accommodating, friendly staff. We found this wonderful place after requiring an emergency haul out, and Dandy Haven was the closest facility that could haul us on short notice. Both the marina and the arranged mechanic offered honest, fair, no nonsense pricing. Navigation into this tucked away place was tight, but had no problems at low tide with a 6 foot draft paying close attention. They helped arrange immediate repairs and provided a courtesy car. I can’t speak highly enough of this great little spot. They made us feel right at home. It is a quiet, safe yard and well protected during inclement weather. If we are ever in the area again and need repairs Dandy Haven will be my first choice.

Easy to contact, responsive to questions, friendly, helpful, good service, clean restrooms & showers, good washdown, expert setting blocks on the hard, perfect DIY yard. Pete the dock dog is pretty cool too!

Very nice small working boatyard. Ducked in to get out of the weather for a couple of days. Main dock fit our 54' boat. 5' at dock. Pump out but no fuel. Some slips available as well. Owners are Leslie and Andy Gurkin (757-851-1573). Loaner car available. Electric included in rate. Head was very clean, showers available. Some parts and supplies are available in the shop. Primarily they work on outboards.
