We really enjoyed this secluded marina. It is away from the hustle & bustle of town and a great place to spend the weekend waiting out a pretty nasty storm. Dock hands were outstanding and the ships store was very well stocked. Private shower/head/sink suites and a coin laundry. Very nice restaurant too. We met new friends here who were 5 days into their loop before requiring some boat service. Wonderful people who we look forward to keeping in touch with. They had nothing but high praise for Walt and the Marina's quick response when they required a tow and service. We will definitely stay here on our next trip.

Secluded marina that is within Killbear park. Restaurant is only open Wednesday to Sunday. Great marine and ship store. Boat repairs done here. Walt is a great guy. 4 private washrooms and a laundry room. There are bikes to rent if you want to go anywhere or to the park.

Killbear Marina, 18 August 2022. The recommended approach is the small craft channel following the buoys from Georgian Bay. At buoy P37 turn into Pengallie Bay on the final approach which has good water. Buoys mark the entrance to the marina while water depth decreases, e.g., 8 feet. The marine store and general store are well stocked to meet provisioning needs. Likewise, the restaurant above the general store offers a variety of meals. WIFI service is limited to inside the marina store. Access to the Killbear Provincial Park is 1.5 miles on Pengallie Rd and Route 559; if walking mind traffic since there are no walkways. Locals suggest access by boat to the park by anchoring at Kilcoursie Bay.
