We had no issues getting in even with chop and NW wind. The harbor master couldn't be any nicer. Directions in were very good. It is tight but just listen to directions. There's an artisans store at the dock. Bathrooms need updating but we're clean. The town is quiet and quaint with a Chocolate store (delicious). The easy hike to Bridal Veil Falls was amazing! Store across he road at the top had liquor, food and fishing equipment. There were burgers and fish n chips next door. The dock master gave us tomatoes from his garden and was very accommodating. Great fishing! Love this out of the way place!

It's nice to have this as an option if you need a place to stop and don't want to anchor out. Be advised you'll most likely have to do a 90 degree turn immediately after you pass the breakwater into a slip. There's a few shops within walking distance and the main attraction is Bridal Falls. You can swim at the base of the falls and even walk on the rocks behind the cascading water. There's a small chocolate candy shop and a fast food place offering pizza, burgers and such to eat on picnic tables. There's also a museum about the local area.

Definitely not a destination point. While the dockmaster Jim is very helpful, the marina is small and tricky to get into. Enter the marina area between the chain of rocks and the seawall and then make an immediate 90 degree starboard turn into the slip. (Would've been nice knowing that ahead of time.). Power pedestal isn't super close so hope you have a long cord. Bridal Falls is a short hike away and a neat site. The town is small and has a few shops, a chocolate candy store and museum. If you're heading west and looking for a spot because you couldn't reach Gore Bay Marina, this is an adequate stop for the night.

The dockmaster Jim is very friendly and a wealth of local knowledge. Larger Looper size boats will use the west set of docks, nearest the big lighthouse with the red light. We used two 30 amp plugs and a reverse Y. Washrooms a bit rustic and could have been cleaner. Highly recommended to be in Kagawong on a Wednesday from July through August for the town market, 70 or so vendors! Of course, easy hike to waterfall, hit the chocolate shop ( very nice), and check out the Old Mill Museum. Although the marina is basic, the town is definitely worth a stop.

Enjoyed the town, Bridal Veil Falls and chocolate shop. The marina staff was very nice and accommodating, but the marina is dated with limited slips. Did not enter the restrooms, but water and power was adequate (with long cord) on the outside dock. No cleats and a very high outside dock but managed to access the boat from the bow because we could not reach from the cockpit. Loved the town more than the marina but glad we stopped.
