Great place to wait for a weather window, good access to the ICW and Atlantic. Not much here and as others have said there is a lot of commercial traffic and strong current. We had no problems on the outside dock but make sure you are well moored with good fenders. We found the staff friendly and the prices reasonable so no complaints.

This place needs an infusion of money to improve its docks and facilities. Location makes it key in that its an easy in and out when running the Coast and I love funky Singleton's shanty restaurant next door. Wicked current and very bad boat traffic plague this place. If you get a spot on the face dock outside be sure to borrow big fenders to protect your hull from the dock.

The staff were easy to deal with. Like the others say, the current is really strong here. There isn’t much to do nearby but it is not a bad place to stop before heading out.

Great access, and a wonderful staff. They helped me before, during, and after my visit. I highly recommend stopping here in the Jacksonville area.

Know what you are getting, or not getting, at this marina. First, very friendly and helpful staff. If you need fuel at the mouth of St John's river it's here. Do not permit yourself to be put on the outside of the dock. The current is horrendous. Large containerships pass close buy. There is a ferry adjacent to the dock which arrives and departs every half hour. There is nothing here if you are traveling with family. Wifi leaves much to be desired. This is a working marina. Honestly, aside from the friendly staff I do not understand the 5-star ratings from others. Oh, and the Pelican Guano stench will definitely get your attention.

Our family can't recommend this place. They don't accommodate their members. Glen, the manager, made it extremely stressful.

Great service from Glenn & staff. We made a very short notice stop when bad weather & urgent personal business cut short an off-shore passage. Although not a typical "cruisers marina", it's a good fuel stop or short term dockage spot. We kept our 39' sailboat there for a month. I would definitely stop by again for fuel or to wait for a weather window.

Apologies for my previous comment, I didn't realize they closed at 5pm (had I only looked at their description, silly me). The fuel prices are actually spot on with other marinas in the area and the dockage is $2/ft so its really on me for buying a larger vessel. They also have a nice store for fishermen to stock up on last minute supplies before their trip.
