Nice marina as long as there isn't an easterly blow. In a bad blow it is not the place to be.

The current $4/ft-night is not warranted.

Visited one day, in early May. Staff was helpful in getting settled, community welcoming. Lovely new (but cramped!) shower facility, but without adequate hooks/shelves, hot water (none!), or lighting (motion sensors left it pitch black in the middle of a shower, forcing a naked dripping walk to the door to activate the switch). When these concerns were brought to the Harbor Manager, his response was to argue.

5 stars, if this town fixes minor glitches, and gets some visitor-friendly management.

Dock staff helpful and friendly but make sure you have long lines if you are assigned a slip at the fuel dock pier. If you aren't young or nimble you won't be able to exit your boat on a low tide. Showers were clean but bathroom lights are on a timer. They go off after eight minutes, during mid shower the lights went off. Had to exit the shower in the pitch black waving my arms to get the motion sensor lights back on. Could be a very dangerous situation for someone older or not very agile on a slippery wet floor. Sounds like A perfect situation for a slip and fall accident, ….better call Saul????. In all seriousness it would be an easy situation to remedy, but office staff said nothing could be done about it. Would hate to see someone get hurt when it could be so easily rectified.

Usually the lowest fuel prices for 300 miles. Please enter the breakwater on the Eastern side. Abandoned pilings on West side are perilous and have hung up hundreds of boats at mid to high tide.

We had a great 3-night stay on a mooring this past weekend. Small but friendly club which is being updated (the bar already looks great!). Good protection behind 2 break walls- we rode out a 20-30 kn blow for 24 hours and they never missed a beat with prompt launch service and friendly staff. About 21 NM S of Liberty Landing which is a great landing spot after traversing NYC East River. Several good restaurants a short walk from dock (about 2/10 mile). We had incredible swordfish (weekends only) like you've never had it prepared at Christina's, run by the affable Ron Marino. Call in advance if you're even thinking about going- we got lucky with a cancellation due to nasty weather which we gladly endured for the unforgettable meal we had. Really nice people and a small but friendly facility.

A very nice marina. Great wide floating docks. A very long sea wall that keep all wakes out. Good fuel prices and a strong pumpout. Prefect staging area to go up the Hudson River. Can see the lights of NYC clearly. Very efficient, friendly and helpful Dock hands. Great restaurants. Lots of green space to walk the dog but could be a problem in the summer as you have to walk across a large paved parking lot.
