Under new ownership in 2024! Great food and drinks, lots of activity on the weekend. They are adding diesel and AGLCA sponsorship for the fall. Almost no cell service, use starlink or the guest wifi!

A quaint little marina, and a great place to Tuckaway off of the main channel. There's room for three or four big boats along a skinny wobbly dock. The marina is a two-story on top of a barge with a bar and restaurant on top. The food was great (we had shrimp skewers and jalapeño hush puppies) and the restaurant was full of people. The people were awesome; kind and welcoming. Barry, known as Bear, is the owner, and was very accommodating! The cost was a dollar a foot and they have some tasty iced alcoholic drinks in the store along with a huge variety of quality T-shirts at a great price! There is nothing fancy to be had here, but some really great people. You can sit along the dock and talk to some of the old-timers and hear all the stories about the RV garages along the river and whatever else is happening. If you're there around July 4 there is $1000 prize for a bikini contest and the old guys told us "they come out yeah of the woodwork for that thousand dollars!"
