Very nice, well managed marina - we stayed several days to see friends in the Tampa area and wait out the 25 kt wind gusts before heading South. This marina is perfectly located and sheltered from all directions. The floating face dock was perfect and the personnel at this municipal marina were outstanding! Nights were quiet and peaceful. A short bike ride gets you to an Aldi, Walmart, CVS, restaurants, etc. The security was great with nice lighting , a nice 10' fence around the compound. Showers and laundry were convenient. We had several Amazon packages delivered since it was same-day delivery there. - perfect for loopers. One of our absolute favorite stops - we will be back for sure.

Nice marina, good depth and sheltered from all directions. We made reservations 2 weeks in advance and contacted marina as we got closer. We were told to proceed to the floating transient dock which was perfect for us. Unfortunately that was changed at the last minute and we ended up being sent to a short narrow fixed dock that we had to back into. With a single engine, no thrusters and windy day, it made for a frustrating arrival. It was now a long walk through the parking lots for laundry, bathrooms, and showers. It's a great location but surrounded by concrete, although it's doable, it's not the best for pets. It's within walking distance to downtown, the beach, shops, and restaurants which is nice.

Stayed on a well-maintained mooring. Easy dinghy access to a great downtown with numerous fun funky places to dine.

Gulfport Municipal Marina. February 10, 2022. Sam of WhatYachtToDo on a training and delivery journey. SeaRay 480MY with a 4-ft draft. Took on fuel and then side tie on Pier 3 T-Head. No issues with depth. Excellent Marina staff. Restrooms and showers are a bit of a hike but very clean and well stocked. WiFi was a bit complicated. There are a lot of restaurants within walking distance.

Can't take a lot of transients, but a great marina with new floating docks. Bath house and laundry new and clean. Quaint old Florida town with some great restaurants and bars

Nice marina with everything you need. We came in on high tide concerned about our draft. Was a little tight too and no shopping in walking distance but excellent gas dock and had 2 pump outs as well as 2 washers and dryers (HE too!). Had snacks in store too and you can get change for laundry.

Transient dock is a floating lay-along, convenient to the bathroom, laundry, and office facilities. Very nice & secure upstairs showers as well as a dayroom with cable t.v. and large book / dvd exchange. Only a short walk to the center of downtown Gulfport for various types of restaurants, a post office and city library. Trailhead for the Pinellas Bike Trail is only 1 mile away. Staff is trying to use Dockwa as the primary means for making reservations, with mixed results.
