Had to pull in unexpectedly after experiencing mechanical issues. Dockmaster Larry couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. We ended up having to stay for the night awaiting parts. He quickly got us hooked up to power and water and although there is nothing within walking distance, he got us a list of restaurants that deliver. The Marina supplies, diesel and gas as well as free pump outs. They have a lovely pool for all guest to use as well as clean, washrooms and showers. It is a very peaceful and quiet setting. We love supporting small family run businesses and this place is a gem.

Nice pool, clean baths and showers, fuel and pump out. Not really close to anything. Place has a river/summer camp vibe.
Helpful dockmaster. Can accomodate larger boats on the 100 ft long fuel dock.

Great respite after doing a bunch of locks! Just what we were looking for; peace and quiet but the essential amenities of bathrooms, showers and bonus of laundry. True, there aren't any restaurants or grocery stores near by, but that's not what we were needing at this time.

Very pretty secluded marina, however, has most amenities of any other in Schnecady. Showers are off the very nice pool area. Pump out, water and fuel available and Terry, the dock hand is great. We were there on a weekend and met members as well as the commodore and her husband at the pool area.

A great place to stay after a day full of locks. The harbormaster welcomes you competent and friendly. The pool is very clean and a welcome break after a hot day. The harbormaster provides you with a lock information sheet which is a very helpful tool to plan your trip on the Erie Canal.

Best place to stay while doing the Erie Canal. We stopped here for just a one night stop and loved it so much we stayed a week!

We stopped here for just a one night stop and loved it so much we stayed a week! On-site pool and the friendly staff and members there made it fabulous. Nothing within walking distance but Brittany drove us to the grocery store. Lots of history there. There are even remains of the original old lock on premises.

Came in here to rest after (Windy-reported) 32 knot gusts in and around lock #8. For us the place was perfect and we stayed an extra day to rest up and tend to our now-longer arms. Cathy was really helpful all along.

I have stopped here a number of times and have always been treated well. Diesel is available and pump out is available also. Easy in and out.

There is limited transient berthage, so be sure to call ahead. The fuel pier is easy to get to, and the dock hands will make sure you are quickly tied up. Ice available at the fuel dock. Uber available, so we ate dinner in town. If you have pets, lots of room to take them on walks.

We were diverted into this marina due to flooding on the canal system that had shut down locks to the west. At first glance the docks could use some work but the staff and facilities make up for that. The flooding is providing a strong current but the docks are easy to get into and the dockhands made our arrival a pleasure. Additional amenities nearby make this place a great destination for anything you could possibly need. We feel lucky to have been "forced" to stay here.

The service was fabulous! We stopped in early in the day, because our head malfunctioned. The Dockmaster, Ed and Rick, Commodore, they helped tie us up, pumped out the holding. One even went home and got a joker valve for our head. We installed it and were on our way. They didn’t charge a penny!
