Great marina, Jackie and John (GM) helped us get onto the dock. Nice facilities and they do marine work. A great haul out location. A very nice town nearby.

Terrible. No dock hands. Those that showed didn’t know how to handle lines or deal with obstacles. Didn’t know depth of their own basin. Trapped us on a dock with broken boats that couldn’t move. Bad pedestals. Mega yacht neighbor with bad manners. Dilapidated bathhouse. Poor knowledge of boat issues around us. Few skip options. Town Marina was clearly better. Way overpriced for situation. Nice people.

WAY too expensive for this poor and shabby location, and I'm NOT a picky person at all. Even though I asked for it, I was never provided the bathroom code or the WIFI code. The maps that were emailed to us were sub-par and miserably poor quality. Step it up Cape Charles and then we'll be back. They called me 24 hours after I left a message trying to get a reservation.

The only negative I can give is the lack of a captain's lounge/bar/bar food venue on site. There is a very nice upscale restaurant on the premises but one must pre plan dinner well in advance.

Our stay at the Cape Charles Yacht center was excellent. The staff was super friendly and available for us. Fuel is located across the fairway and convenient. If you plan to stay overnight, the town of Cape Charles is a must see. The beach and sunset were awesome!

Dockmaster Renee was very accomodating and went out of her way to help us. Golf cart available to get to restaurants. Will make this our go-to marina in Cape Charles.

Matt greeted us at the dock and was very courteous and helpful. All staff and management that we interacted with were great. They made arrangements for us to receive fuel in the slip via a tanker truck. The total experience at this marina was wonderful! I highly recommend a visit to Cape Charles Yacht Center.

We ended up not getting a slip assignment until the last minute and were advised that the marina would be closed by the time we arrived at 6pm. However, the dock master actually was there until very late and helped us tie up and figure out our slip. Everyone was quite friendly and we appreciated the use of the golf cart to get around the charming town. We would happily stay here again.

Nice marina, great staff, great location if you want to go into town -- but not a great value for the high price. Bathrooms were acceptable but not exceptional, very nice floating docks, no other amenities. Cape Charles is a resort town, with great beaches and the usual kitschy downtown. Restaurant at the marina is excellent and highly recommend dinner there.

There are three different facilities here. Cape Charles Yacht Center dock, Cape Charles Town Harbour and the boatyard. All of these are now under the management of the team managed by JB Tuner and Nicole Jacques. They are also known for their work at Front Street Shipyard in Belfast, ME. So, they are dedicated to extraordinary customer service and quality work. I just spent 2 months in the yard and at the dock enjoying springtime on the Chesapeake Bay. The staff and crew are exceedingly accommodating, focused on getting the job done on time and on budget and making sure you are comfortable. This is a hidden gem. Cape Charles remains an up and coming destination on Chesapeake Bay because of the team here. Five stars.

We came here to haul out a catamaran and get some bottom work done. While the haul out facility is narrow, the crew is experienced at fitting wide-beam boats in using pool noodles and life preservers as hand-held fenders. Our beam is 24' 3" and they could have handled up to 25' 0" I think. The travel lift is a BFM 75 II, so it's got limited length capability. They succeeded (barely) in lifting my double-masted cat that requires the front strap to be about 30 feet from the travel lift's cross beam.

On the work side, they have a very limited number of skilled personnel, and having let George go, that is more limited. JB Turner has a goal to expand capability, so I hope he'll succeed. For some keel work, they were recommending vinylester and 24 hour cure between layers so they could sand the work flatter between layers. This will prevent molecular bonding between layers and vinylester lacks the strength of epoxy. An experienced subcontractor they hired will be doing epoxy with proper layup layers promoting molecular bonding.

The folks are all friendly and helpful here, and you can work on your own boat as long as it does not include grinding or painting.

Cape Charles is operating during COVID, with changes. Monday and Tuesday is pretty closed down for restaurants. Prices are tourist-level. Haircuts require appointments. All that aside, it’s a nice small town.

Close enough to downtown area. So much to do and see in Cape Charles. This facility does great service work as well. Also close to a golf course if you're there to visit for a few days!

Vary nice marina. I echo what previous reviewer said. Couple additional comments:
    1. Just like the town marina across the channel, this place can get a bit rocky when seas/wind pick up from the SW-NW.
    2. Yes, there is access to the resort pool but currently there is a $12/pp fee. Told that will go away in the near future.
    3. New restaurant will open very soon (mid-Jun 19).
I look forward to future improvements!

There is a incredible investment being made in this marina. While it is currently only in the beginning stages, what they have done has been done well. Floating docks are wide and well built. There is currently only a single bathroom/shower, and no pool. However, the marina provides access to a golf cart and van. Cape Charles beach is easily accessible by dinghy or by the cart. I would definitely go back and would recommend this over the town docks.
