What a great place to pull into. The approach is easy and well-marked. Docks are concrete and fixed. With a two-foot tidal exchange expect to use a lot of lines and fenders. The staff is excellent. Customs and Immigration have offices there. They are friendly and professional. The Marina provides good service. Fuel is readily available. There are restaurants on site and more only ten minutes away. If you are heading south out of the Bahamas this is a great first stop.

Good stop in north DR. Some swell gets in so get one of the slips at the east end area . We were fine there a couple nights . Easy clearance in and out . A bit noisy in the night if near the restaurants. Otherwise perfectly fine . Entrance is marked by lighted red buoys and only one green near the port . Diesel and petrol at market prices ok . Very good supplies at Jumbo supermarket 25' drive away . Traffic is "DR" type so not for lighthearted . Staff is nice and helpful . No extra tips to anybody . We would repeat .
