Cooper River Marina is a nice place to stop. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is a gated marina and slip renters are given a key fob that unlocks the gates. The restroom/bathhouse are very nice. Be aware that the marina is adjacent to the Port of Charleston and large container ships put off wakes which rock your boat if you are slipped on the outside. There are no restaurants or services near the marina and it is a long walk out of the marina if you are heading out to meet an UBER. Speaking of UBER, Google maps, which UBER drivers depend on, has trouble routing drivers to the Marina.

Nice marina, Fair prices, but, long walk to parking lot. Good facility, except sometimes a nearby smoke stack will spew small black particles on your boat. We stayed there for 3 months a while back, so this issue may have been corrected.

We spent one month here, mostly off the boat, but we visited regularly. From the moment we made our reservation until we left, the staff were professional, courteous, and helpful. It's off the beaten path but we ubered and had family nearby. (But it is a long walk from the transient docks to the parking lot.) The bathrooms and laundry were nice and clean. The store had ice and beer and a few other things but no groceries. Very reasonable rates. We will stay here again.

This was a relatively good marina but it was not near any groceries, shopping, or other services. Transient area was not protected by a breakwater and it got very rough at the dock with winds coming out of the south. Facilities were clean and well kept, including bathrooms, showers, laundry area, and lounge. Nice open patio with picnic tables overlooking Cooper River. Staff accepts mail and packages but does not tell you when they arrive. Marina store not well stocked; perhaps it was still off season at the end of March? Staff was friendly.

Our first overnight trip on a boat in marina. This was a great first experience and it couldn't have been better. Extremely friendly staff and nice facilities.
