We spent the last several nights here and will spend several more. Wind has been 15+ knots from ALL directions. In SE, there is significant roll, but tolerable. In South to West winds, there is no protection and expect 3 foot plus waves in anything over 10-12 knots. Bucking Bronco! In NW/N/NE winds you have excellent protection and bay was flat with winds gusting in the mid to upper 20s. There are two beautiful sand beaches on the North shore and a castle on the West! Beach to the south is preferred for dinghy access and appears to be pet friendly. It is possible to walk to BlackPoint from the anchorage, but I would recommend using this for storm protection from Northerlies and moving to BlackPoint for shore access. There is easily room for 25+ boats spread out and could accommodate double if needed. Mobile access was good on both ALiV MIFI unit and 3 bars on BTC. No WiFi.
