There is 10 feet mlw at the anchorage icon with depth decreasing as you move further up the creek. Good holding in mud with good wind and wave protection in all directions except north, where protection is only fair. There is no current running in the creek and we had no boats pass us in while we were anchored here. This anchorage is definitely less populated than nearby Shaw Bay. There is no shore access nearby and no shopping in the neighborhood. The shore is dotted with widely scattered houses. Cell phone reception was fair for AT&T and T-Mobile, only one bar for Verizon. Definitely a good anchorage if you just want to kick back and relax quietly.
