About a dozen boats were anchored in the area. The approach is easy, and we anchored about 200 yards offshore in 13 feet of water. We were protected from winds and waves out of the east, but a swell from the southwest gently rocked the boat constantly. This is an exposed anchorage. We did not go to shore, visit either town or the marina. Other boats had no problems beaching dinghies to get to shore. The water was amazingly clear with over 100 feet of visibility, but there is not much to see in the water.
