The wakes are rough during the day. That is a good time to go ashore. It gets quiet in the evening. The town has everything you could want. Abeaiutidfull old whaling village museums, colonial homes. Shopping is excellent with groceries and laundry and every other kind of shop in just a block or two from the dinghy dock.
