Unlike Fat Cat, we found the holding to be very good. Anchorage is open to the SW and we saw a 2 ft fetch in 15 kts from the NE too. Wellfleet harbour is 1.5 NM away. Very pretty beach is quite close. Very big anchoring area, swing with the tide (10ft) and the wind.

We had S-SW winds 10-15 kts, gusting to 25. We rocked & rolled all night. Worse anchorage for those winds. Set the anchor alarm, we held overnight but dragged in the early morning. Winds light this am & we still dragged. Not recommended!
