Description:
Anchor upstream of the boat launch dock on RDB downstream of Green Buoy at mm 942.0. You can dinghy to a boat ramp from here. Smaller boats can tie to the floating dock and larger vessels can anchor just to the east of the dock.

There is an interesting stop in Metropolis at Fort Massac State Park Boat Launch and Dock. Small boats may be able to tie up to the dock. Larger boats will have to anchor upstream of the dock and short of the Green Buoy about a quarter mile upstream and dinghy in to dock. Fort Massac looks interesting for history buffs and Metropolitan Metropolis (Home of Superman) is a short walk west. Big John's Supermarket is less than a ten minute walk from the dock if provisioning is needed. Not recommended as an overnight so only three stars.
