Great holding, some wakes thru the night but I slept really good and that is what matters. Dinghy to the bridge to land a good slopping beach to walk your dog. We had good cell reception with T mobile and Verizon.

There weren't many good anchorage options, but this worked fine. We were there with three other boats. One had a dog who took her up the little creek to find some land that wasn't muddy.

Draft: 4.5'Overall Rating:3Holding:3Wind Protection:4Current Flow:3Wake Protection:4Scenic Beauty:3Ease of Shopping:1Shore Access:4Pet Friendly:4Cell Service:4WiFi:1We anchored behind Boston Bar Island about 150 feet in. There was 5 1/2 feet of water. Once you get the anchor set well, there is good holding however most boats we saw in the 2 nights including us had to re-set the anchor numerous times to stop dragging. The bottom is heavy mud. The anchorage is very quiet and we were well protected from wakes. There is a nice sandy beach for the dog just past Hwy 57 bridge. We had 2 bars on AT&T phones and our T-Mobile hot spot had sufficient signal for streaming.
