We anchored in 6-7 feet of water. The anchor set quickly and came up just slightly muddy with some shells mixed in. We did not access shore facilities and cannot address shopping, shore access or whether or not this location was pet friendly.

We were only here one night this visit. Lots of room for transients. There are still many long term boats and quite a few sunken vessels. Holding here is excellent and access to services very good. This is a great anchorage to stage going in/out at Cape Canaveral Inlet.

The anchor came up muddy but we cleaned it off with the salt water wash down. It was very easy to take the dog to land. We went to Griffs Landing and also to the Intracoastal Park.

There was no wind and our anchor held firm in mud. The few boat wakes were coming from the west side of the channel so we found the anchorage quite comfortable. A few bugs showed up so put up screens if you have them. Didn't go ashore.

Great Anchorage off the ICW with lots of room for dozens of boats. We anchored in 7-8 feet of water. Big storm one night with 30+ knot gusts. All boats in Anchorage held well. Several resident derelict boats close to shore in shallow water. Free Dinghy dock is excellent condition by the bait shop and Ms Apples Crab Shack. From there it’s a short 2 blocks to West Marine. A couple more blocks and you have Home Depot, Publix, CVS, Multiple restaurants. About 1.5 miles to 3 major auto part stores all across from one another. Don’t miss Sno Hut for Italian ice or sno balls! Across on the Southeast side is historic old town Cocoa. There are new docks being built. They are actively working on completing them but as of May 22, 2020 they remain closed. Recommend Thai Thai restaurant in downtown. Great stop to walk around with lots of shopping and historical buildings.
