Not much protection from wake of other boats. I'd opt to anchor close to the beach if staying for the day. Otherwise, this is a great spot for an overnight anchor.

There is a marina right nearby, but there's no access and they have no fuel. Like Skipper Bob says, great as a jumping off point going either direction.
