Good holding in shifting winds, anchorage is a long way from shore and the reach to the north and east (Shore) seems large but minimal waves generated.

Crab pots created a navigation barrier depths went up from 10ft but few pots in the marked anchorage.

Put out 10x Rhode and held fast in 20+ knots. Chain had sections of mud when we pulled it. The anchor was clean.

T mobile cell coverage was good.

US Coast Guard aircraft provided good entertainment.

We attempted to anchor here but became fouled on what we believe was a cedar tree. We were unable to break free and lost the anchor and rode. It looked like a good spot with the wind from the NE. We limped back to Eliz City.
