Go past the downstream Red on the LDB and turn in towards shore. We found nine feet of water about 150 feet outside the channel with room for two or three boats to anchor. Consider stern anchors if there is any doubt about swinging. Anchorage is exposed to wind and wakes but holding should be good. We did not anchor. If it is getting dark this might be a good alternative.
