Description:
(aka "Gullah Gullah island), 24 41.175N, 081 05.441W Nice day anchorage to play on the island. Good overnight anchorage if winds and weather are OK. Anchor just to the east of the island. Once you learn the area you can get in closer, south of the island, and watch for a ledge that starts about halfway to the west, just S of the island. Come on the Island from the North side. The south (ocean) side has LOTS of SHARP limestone rocks plus urchins. Don't land from that side. SNORKELING: On the North and West sides of the Islands in 10' or less are little coral outcroppings to snorkel - lots of Juvenile fish.

The owner or operator of a vessel or floating structure may not anchor or moor such that the nearest approach of the anchored or moored vessel or floating structure is:
1. Within 150 feet of any marina, boat ramp, boatyard, or other vessel launching or loading facility;
2. Within 300 feet of a superyacht repair facility. For purposes of this subparagraph, the term "superyacht repair facility" means a facility that services or repairs a yacht with a water line of 120 feet or more in length; or
3. Within 100 feet outward from the marked boundary of a public mooring field or a lesser distance if approved by the commission upon request of a local government within which the mooring field is located. The commission may adopt rules to implement this subparagraph.

This is a very tricky anchorage to get into. At low tide we couldn't event make it to the marker. Mostly an east wind in the summer and you can't get behind this Island with anything that drafts over 2 feet. No wind protection, Entrance to Sisters Creek is just to the East and there is a lot of boat traffic. Much better anchorage just East of East Sisters Rock.
