With3'9" draw, we chose this out of the way area. Anchor held but only a gentle breeze for wind. Watch the tides, current and shoaling. We got pushed over and shoaled. Were able to get off and re-anchored closer to channel. Lots of grass on anchor chain in morning.

Stayed here one night, anchor caught first time. No protection from North, South or West, some from East but not much. Stay very close to private marina docks as you come in. It says there is a public dingy dock where you can get to the Atlantic but we didn't attempt.

We came to anchor here on Sunday April 23, 2023. We have excellent hold on our anchor and the wind is blowing currently 7 out of the South so we are protected from the homes around us. There are some shallow areas around here but we are just west about 200 yards of G13.
We don't have any pets so pet friendly? Even with heavy local boat traffic the wake protection is pretty good.

We anchored near R14. The wind was blowing hard. We did not feel there was much wind protection, although with all those houses, there must have been some. We were also not used to the currents and were quite worried when the rode disappeared under the boat in a strange angle. It all worked out well. The anchor held and the road untangled itself when the current reversed. Good cell service to go facetime with family.

We loved this place! There are not many anchorages in this area of the AICW. We were quite pleased to find Sloop Point Anchorage since it was a beautiful, well protected area. We arrived within an hour of high tide and checked out Sloop Point Anchorage G21 in the way in. We decided to continue on to Sloop Point Anchorage G13 since the depth finder showed only 4.3 feet of water. We put out 70 feet of anchor chain in 9 feet of water and our Rocna anchor held well. It was a Sunday and some boaters passed by so we felt some wakes. However, the traffic stopped after dark and we had a pleasant, peaceful night. We stayed only 1 night and did not go to shore. We will come here again!

We always stop at this anchorage going north and south. Anchor in 10 feet just off the channel used by locals and enjoy a peaceful night. Few bugs and breezy in case it's hot. Enjoy the sounds of the waves crashing on the beach at night. T-Mobile 5G has 456 (yes 456) down and 25 up.

October 23 2021 We anchored a little NW of R14 just outside COE survey of channel. We also anchored here in April 2021. Both were just overnight stays only so did not really explore area. But both stays were relaxing and pleasant. Some wakes but not really much of an issue. Had light winds both times so not tested for windy conditions.

The anchorage was good, good holding and minimal current. Local boaters are not at all worried about their wakes.

    Nice walk to the beach.

We anchored here on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Constant small boat traffic with moderate wakes. Both ebb and flood currents are strong, but good holding. Lots of swing room in the middle, but keep on the lookout for local work barges moving along the shoreline to service the many private docks. Did not try to go ashore.

We stayed just north of this location (N34* 23.791 Lat & W077* 35.621’ Long) and anchored just south (250’) of the green channel marker 15. Excellent holding and wind protection, current is gentle here. Occasional boat traffic so wake is noticeable at times, we are a cat so not as severe as a monohull and some boaters slow down, some don’t. We entered at low tide so a shallow entrance at curve; stay closer to docks. Anchored in 8’ of water at low tide. T-Mobile cell service is 3 bars. We are not going ashore but would go to public beach as original poster suggests.

At the foot of Humphrey Ave there is a small public beach. You can land a dinghy and walk across the peninsula to the ocean beach.
