Review for Upper Windham Landing

LOA: 48'
Draft: 5.0'Overall Rating:3Holding:5Wind Protection:4Current Flow:4Wake Protection:4Scenic Beauty:3Ease of Shopping:1Shore Access:1Pet Friendly:1Cell Service:3Leave channel down bound at mile marker 286.6 center channel, being careful to avoid the long and shallow bar that comes off the tip of Windham Bar Island with 20 feet of water on entry, shoaling to 15 feet at the bar and then back to over 20 feet in the chute. Channel is about 200 feet wide with good wind, wave, and wake protection with the exception of the NE/SW axis in line with the channel's orientation. Mild current will help you stay in the channel when anchored. No shore access. Cellular quality is ATT 2 bars, Verizon 4, and T-Mobile 2 bars 4G. On leaving go back and turn down bound at the channel to honor the bar sticking out from the north end of the island.
