Description:
Nice anchorage off the main channel. Follow private markers from channel, entering below the island. 10' or better at normal pool. Anchor after last markers. Park with boat ramp and dock on shore opposite the few homes. Shallows quickly beyond the no wake buoy.

Anchored across from the dinghy dock 8' water. Holding was good. Light wind 5-7 kts. Go past the day marker (down river). Followed the markers in, be sure to keep the first green marker to port. We followed a line from the day marker to the first green marker shallowest was 5'. Going further past the marker before turning may get more depth. We draft 2.5'. Two boats with us anchored just out side the marked channel on the down river side.

Very nice anchorage. Enter south of larger island through marked channel. Many stumps sticking up north of large island. No wake bouy ends channel. We anchored 2-44 ft cruiser yachts with room for more. Storm came through with some winds and we were safe. Room to swing on anchor but we rafted opposite and each dropped bow anchor because of expected storm. Boat ramp and park with pavilion and charcoal grille right there. We had small campfire at the point on the sand well before storm and it was beautiful. Always careful to water all fire ash thoroughly.
