You need to get close to the shore to find good sand for anchoring. A bit tentative our first try was too far out, and we did drag a bit, so we went for it again. Much better. There is little protection from winds south to west. A few boats went by, but it was not busy. Land is a short dinghy ride south to Gregory. Along the north wall and outside the bay is excellent snorkeling in fairly clear water. In calm weather it's a nice cove to spend some relaxing time.
