But it is adequate. The south shore is rocky. SO, in the event of a northerly wind, we *might* put out a stern anchor. We arrived a peak flood tide on the Hudson, but did not detect any current in this spot. We pretty much dropped on top of the WWG anchor symbol before the left turn. Everyone goes slow here so, no wake. We would not hesitate to stop here again. 10ft at anchor, 8 ft on entrance on half tide coming up. Slips and condos line the north shore. Woods to the south.
