Holding is good, but you have to be careful because there is a lot of junk on the bottom here. As I anchored, I watch a work boat pulled two boats that had sunk out of the water and cart them away. There are warnings that mooring blocks were left on the b

To access the shore, I had a buddy Boat take me from my boat over to the shore where I climbed up and scooted across church property to get to the street. And then I came back the same way with groceries a little later. But are no dinghy docs here. The ma

1 25 2018 we anchored here and there were multiple reviews at that time including mine. These reviews mysteriously are gone. Traveling through on 2 5 2026 we met up and anchored with a friend who was also anchored for the night. Being a MTOA member on our forum there was a discussion of what was transpiring here through the years. The missing reviews here also painted a picture of this anchorage through the years. In years past you could take your dinghy under the bridge and re-provision. The highway department has fenced in that area so that is no longer available. People abused this area and put in Non-permitted Moorings. The locals put up a sign to discourage boaters. My understanding the Police removed the non-permitted moorings. I am led to believe there were misunderstandings by the police that you could not anchor here also. To the best of my knowledge that has been resolved, and anchoring is Ok if short term and you do not exceed 30? 45? days. This should be checked out and confirmed as I am not a local or a lawyer. Holding was good in fairly strong NW winds.
