Depths are shallower than indicated on the chart but never less than 9 feet on the north arm of the oxbow and 7 feet at the back of the oxbow in front of the five or six houses on shore. All shore access on land looks private. Access to shore on island looks possible but did not try.
Cell reception for ATT and Verizon good.
Anchorage will hold at least five or six boats in line with the current. Good anchorage but Butcher's Bend a mile further up the river is better.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer
