Went all the way to the end. Saw a sheriff, asked if it was ok. He said he could not say yes or no, just don't block the ramps. We got here just before 5, since both sides closed at 5, no issue. A sailing cat came in after us. A bit close but, there was room.

If there was a cement plant here at one time, that must have been long ago. The north part of the inlet looks to be a nearly empty modern marina with floating docks, power pedestals, etc. On the south side, there was a manufacturing plant of some kind but not active at all. Saw water depths in the entry channel as low as 4 feet slightly north of centerline. On the way out, I favored the southern side of the channel and never saw less than 6 feet.

Saw as low as 5.7' coming in. Anchored in 9' of water in very light winds but not sure of holding seems like muddy loose bottom. There are many docks here which were empty on north side with no trespassing signs. Need to stay to North side coming in channel as it is shallow by docks on South side of channel. Sheriff boat was in slip on south dock and only one other boat. Not much swing room. It was a Saturday morning so did not see any activity when we left at 9AM

There is a cement retaining wall on the north side where it looks like a marina with dry storage is going in. Depth was 6'-8' on the way in to the harbor. No current to worry about. Other reviews had Sea Ray factory working early, we never saw anyone around in the AM. Quiet place to spend the night.

We like it for its protection and lack of current. It is narrow, and shallow entrance, but so far, the construction at the end across from the Searay plant has not impeded the space to anchor. Very quiet on the weekend!

Arrived after 6pm and also set a stern anchor to counteract the changing current flow. Beautiful sunset and sunrise. Sea Ray factory showed signs of gearing up for the day at 6am. We departed at 6:30am. Anchor rode very muddy but held well.

Min depth 5.5 feet. Currently a great spot for the dog but construction will start soon on a marina and apartments. Glad we found it!
