There is no current flow that I can tell, holding is good. There's no real traffic noise coming from the bridge. There is a bar under the bridge that plays pretty good music from late afternoon to early evening. Can't really hear them once I get inside the boat. There doesn't seem to be any current flow that I could tell. Only saw one wake on a Saturday afternoon so I'd say wake protection is pretty good. Holding is really good too. I don't have a dog and I didn't need to go to shore, but the two sailboats next to me did have dogs and they said getting the shore to let their dog do their business was really easy. This anchorage is pretty small and could only fit three sailboats. There is another sailboat and another powerboat that anchored just a little bit further out. I'll use this again if I ever come this way.

You can dinghy to the boat ramp of the parc, the pier 220 or the marina(6$). the boat ramp doesn't have any place to tie your dinghy. You can leave your dinghy at pier 220 seafood and grill. They have a dock for dinghy. We ask them if we can let us dinghy there for a walk and they said they don't really look and it's at us own risk. We are well protect from north wind but nothing from south. You anchor in muds and shell. We feel some waves of a 15kt North East wind but not enough to not sleep.

Great view of Cape Canaveral, though the launch (though I may go up to the next bridge for viewing as it was also great as we traveled north) was canceled sadly due to endless storms. Did not go ashore. Great cell service. No big wakes. Just us an one other boat.

Bridge construction could be heard in the morning, but not intrusive.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Not much wind protection either but we have an aft cabin so we we tend to have a kite effect and move around a bit. There is a restaurant next to this spot and we saw our neighbors take their dingy over and pick up dinner. We also enjoyed the live band while having drinks on our helm watching the sunset. I’d say it is a good place to spend the night.
