Anchored for one night. Good holding and pretty quiet. Only a handful of boats most of which didn't appear occupied. Did not try to go ashore but understand that is very difficult here.

Not bad for a stopover. Held okay; grassy sand. Boat traffic wasn't too bad. Mosquitoes were.

Just anchored for the night as a stopover to cross to Bimini. Winds were north in January so anchored on south side. Watch depth as you approach. Mostly 8 to 12 ft. Anchor dragged a little. Look for sand if possible. Doesn't look like Island is very accessible.

Good spot with multiple options depending on the wind direction. Tucked up behind protection requires moving from the sides of the anchorage-by Rodriguez for Easterly's. By Rock Harbor formal for Norther's. heavy wake traffic from powerboats, especially on weekends. back down anchor hard if in grass.

Choppy here and I think all the time. No wind protection except due east and you can tuck up behind the island. Good place to overnight. Long dingy ride to get into town. Key Largo is not so accommodating for dingy access. "hint you can use the courtesy dock at Marina Del Mar (between, 12pm-10pm) 2 hour limit or dingy dock at Pilot House.

Good spot with multiple options depending on the wind direction. Tucked up behind Rodriguez is good for Easterly's. In closer towards Rock Harbor formal is better for northers. Good holding but not the easiest shore access. Overall a good safe Anchorage.

I've anchored here a half dozen times over the last eight years. I drop the hook on the 6 ft line heading into Mariner's Club Marina which is away from Rodriguez Key and any protection it might offer so I only use this anchorage in winds less than 10 kts. Any higher winds and the night can be bouncy.

I have a dog aboard and I use the public ramp next to Mandalay Marina to land my dinghy. From where I anchor, it's about a 1/2 mile ride to the boat ramp. I have a 66 lbs Spade anchor, never a problem being secure at night.

We stayed three times, twice on our way south from Miami to Marathon and once on our way north back to the Miami area. The wifey has said never again!

We've had winds N, NE, E, SE and S and it was not real pleasant. We tried to get close to the mainland when a north wind but anchor was dragging on rock. We gave up after an hour of trying and anchored further out. The holding there all 3 times was very good but the ride was rough.

Early in the morning on two of the occasions several fishing boats left their harbors and created substantial wakes when running close to us. Not sure why they did when it would have been easy to give way a little but they did.

Good place to get together with others, just watch for tidal shift .. have seen some boats soft grounded after arriving earlier at high tide
